At Paws On The Move, we offer casual or regular dog walks. It is a one-on-one service with your dog so that he/she gets all the attention and time they deserve while out and about walking.
During the initial meet and greet session, we will discuss your dog’s individual walking routine. For example, does your dog require a harness, halti collar, fast or slow pace, is he/she a sniffer, interaction with other dogs/cats? This is important so that your dog gets the most enjoyable experience from his/her walk.
You will also be required to fill in an information and consent form that provides personal details (such as emergency numbers) and your dog’s details; this information will be with your walker at all times.
We come to your house, pick up your dog and walk around your local streets. At the end of the walk, they’ll get a treat (if allowed), water bowl refilled, towel dried if they’re wet and delivered back home tired and happy.
If you prefer to have your dog walked off the lead, then they will be transported to the nearest designated council-approved “Off Lead Areas”. This way your dog can enjoy more of the open spaces. Paws On The Move strictly abides by council regulations in relation to dogs and other animals and will only let your dog off the lead if it is safe for your dog, your walker, other dogs and other people.
